AME license question?
Hi, I graduated from TC approved aircraft trainning course with 18 month time in 48 month experience. If I cannot get my log book 70% tasks sign off, can I still choose the option of writting the technical exam instead of doing my log book?

No,
You'll need the tasks. TC will not approve the logbook without at least 70%

Even if you hadn't done the approved course and had gone through ICS or similar and were to do the technical exams, you'd also be required to complete 70% of the tasks in your log book.
T.C. will generally let you write the exam up to 6 months prior to the completion of your apprenticeship period and before you have 70% of your tasks but your license will not be issued untill you have 70% of the tasks completed.
I'm pretty sure that's how it worked anyhow.
