I am afraid that is precisely the point. There are some that I don't want to give a dime, either.
But democracy has to be inclusive... all voices are supposed to be heard.... or you get the seeds of what is happening in the middle-east, and has happened elsewhere. If you allow only vested interests to fund the campaigns of only friendly political parties, the voices of the rest are effectively suppressed.... and it will not be long before either or both:
1. a de-facto dictatorship by the haves.
2. violence by the have-nots
Although it is fashionable to think of "violence" as being instigated by those evil terrorists.... the fact is that a lot of it is have-nots lashing out at haves. Dig deeper into the Northern Ireland troubles, and they were more motivated by exclusion rather than religion. Dig deeper into the Israeli situation and... oh, sorry, thats not allowed.
