I'm looking for a flight instructor ~ Brampton Flight Centre
Perhaps a bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask.
I am just looking to earn my night rating and was wondering if anyone here has some instructor recommendations for me. My PPL instructor unfortunately is leaving the biz.
Feel free to send me a PM.
Thanks.

I'm no expert, but why don't you actually go to the flight school and talk to the instructors?schmoo wrote:Perhaps a bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask.

The night rating should take you about two weeks. There are not any new complex skills to master, just an adjustment to a new environment and occasional reference to the instruments. You only need to find an instructor willing to work late into the night and you'll only be spending 2/3rds of your training time with them as the rest is solo. If you don't kill them during your training, you'll end up with a night rating. Pick someone you might want to get to know as opposed to looking for "the top gun" as the atmosphere is more relaxed then during your PPL so you don't need to make a big deal of it.JungianJugular wrote:I'm no expert, but why don't you actually go to the flight school and talk to the instructors?schmoo wrote:Perhaps a bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask.

Well when I got my PPL there all of them seemed to be top notch, but the ones I remember most were Trishul (my instructor), Andrew, Carra and Jeremy Hill. Of course that was a year ago so they could of all moved on....
Happy landings with the NR though!

I'm looking for a flight instructor ~*** FOUND *** thanks
Somehow this thread has come back from the dead.
I'm pleased to announce I found an awesome instructor at BFC and have finished the instruction portion of the NR.
Just gotta do a few more solo hours...sigh.
