All Canada Express

Post by whipline »

I recently heard something that I have a hard time believing. Maybe someone who works there could explain it better.

I heard that ACE was now part of the CAW. All the pilots who were recently let go by ACE were the ones who signed a union card. These pilots were let go out of seniorty. Now I hear ACE is short pilots and are going to hire again.

Before I make some comments on the subject is there anyone out there who would care to tell the real story?

The pilot group at ACE is in the process of unionizing. From what I hear there is no collective agreement yet. Pilots that are still working at ACE are quiet divided on the issue. The bottom half of the pilot list were let go, some had signed union cards others haven't. It does seem that those still there are real busy flying.
