I know nothing about Wasaya, but I will say that to me those bond numbers seem right in line with actual training costs. None of this 24K, 2 year BS where if you leave after a year you are on the hook for the 2nd year's training that you haven't received. As for the you take a loan, we pay it nonsense...Fuuuuuck no, but the numbers seem fair to me.Blueontop wrote:It's cash up front with prime plus 2% paid back. B1900 is $9500, the dash is around $15000 I believe and so on. This is paid back over one year.
Wasaya, maybe bankrupt?? maybe not..

Fair if it wasn't money up front to a bankrupt airline

Are there many operators asking pilots to put money up front?
EVAS asks pilots for upfront cash. 15k for the 1900 repaid back over 2 years with no interest.

Funny since the dash is not even theirs it's Goldcorp's.Blueontop wrote:It's cash up front with prime plus 2% paid back. B1900 is $9500, the dash is around $15000 I believe and so on. This is paid back over one year.

That's how aircraft management works. The airline is responsible for everything, up to and including the staffing for the aircraft. If the airline decides to say its $50,000 for the bond, Goldcorp probably does not even know it.

If I were Exchange Income Corporation, I'd be sending in Perimeter and Bearskin Metros in waives to break into these communities. No brainer.
But i'm no CEO... Unless wasaya is looking for someone who can manage their debt better than a 17y old teenie bobber at the mall with her first ever credit card.

The hard part of breaking into these communities is wasaya is owned by the bands so they will do what they can to keep competition out.

Exactly Hydro one should have just manned up and stopped sending fuel until the generators ran out and the town went black, I bet that would have changed their minds.
