One Q about the new runway... how are the taxi times for departure off of the new 34 going to be. The same as the old one, or is the new runway going to be offset to the north compared to the old???
It looks like the taxi distance from the D gates to the threshold of the new 34R will be a longer taxi . Then again, a 12 000 ft taxi at 25 knots only takes 4 minutes, 45 seconds. A long time when protected by Type I, but 99% of the time not that long, really.

If someone were to flagrantly ignore SOPs, ignore tire limitations, and increase taxi speed to 36 knots, they would save 1 min 27 seconds. (Sorry, pet peeve.)
