That Porter at the start is old,it has the cable flaps, notice the right hand winding them down, new machines have electric flaps. The flap motor is more robust than the 208, just something I've noticed.

We did a tour of the factory you see in the video. The PC 9 or 21 was there,the military one and we were standing on the wing looking inside the cockpit talking to the techs. I was thinking if this was in the US of A one wouldn't get on the airfield let alone in the hangar and they's probably shoot you if they saw you looking inside the cockpit.

The new birds have electric trim. I think there is an upgrade for older ones.

The PC-6 is right up there with the Beaver and Otter.
