well its obvious if youve logged 300 hours that you enjoy flying... wanna keep it that way get out of this industry. Or if you are stubborn like me, stick with it for the good stories and beer. either way you've been warned

Yup buy a PPC, 737 or bigger would look great on the old resume. :smt021 CoPac might still have their 747-100 sim lots of jobs in Africa for the brave!

No guarantee. You were smart enough to get 50 hours float. Now if you are willing to leave the city and go fly in the bush, you will find some of the best times of your life. It is also a great excuse to get away from an ugly girlfirend that you haven't had the guts to dump.

I thought you went to the bush to find the ugly girlfriend.

that much time will get you a job, yet float operators I know don't much like instructors. good luck you just need lots of patients and the time to work hard to get one.

I got my first flying job on a 1956 C-180 with 50 hours floats. Spent my first week building a dock, waiting for the ice to melt, then two weeks hauling fish. Slime used to weep out of the drain holes in the belly at the dock. Yum.

Don't give up.
