As of March 2019, other than the full-flap landings, previously discussed, these are other changes:
Stall recovery:
Old: "without excessive loss of altitude".
New: to "smoothly recover using control applications in the correct sequence by promptly reducing the angle of attack to break the stall and levelling the wings“
Slow flight has been made easier:
Old: "near minimum controllable airspeed as indicated by a near-constant stall warning.”
New: "establish the aircraft in slow flight on the backside of the power curve, where more power is needed to fly slower, as indicated by intermittent stall warnings or aerodynamic buffet …”
Recovery from unusual attitudes by use of instruments:
Old: "with minimum loss of altitude" -
New: "promptly and smoothly recover to straight and level flight within the aeroplane’s limitations"
Old: "take immediate and corrective recovery action”
New: “apply smooth coordinated control application in the correct sequence”.
Forced approach:
New: “fly an organized approach while adjusting the flight profile to arrive at key points at the desired height and position;” –
Old: key points were not required.

Re: Other changes to PPL test standards
Well easier or not, i find it was written with the clearer language. Now let’s rewrite all the flight tests.
