So I’ve been out of the aviation scene a very long long time. A little background, I’m a CPL holder who’s been out of the flying scene for 10-12 years. Life took hold and I had to put flying a side but I’m now in a very good position to get back into the saddle. Im set in a very good career outside of aviation and not planning on flying commercially, just a hobby pilot.
Anyways I will re-write the pstar and follow TC’s recurrency process. This leads me to my question, I went for my medical today and got the stamp from the doctor (Yes, I do have the blue passport type license) but do I need to send TC anything to prove I went for my medical? Or do we just get the stamp in the licence and we are good to go? I though I remember in the past(blue piece of paper licence days) where I would pay the doctor fee but also have to send something into TC and got another TC bill in the mail for 55$ or something, is that not a thing anymore?
Thanks

You don’t have to do anything about the medical: the stamp is all you need. The CAME will send the paperwork to Transport him or herself. The bill will arrive in due course.
Good luck with the flight review with an instructor!
