TC to FAA CPL exam

Post by usfly89 »

Hello Avcanada team,

I will pass my CCP exam in the next couple of weeks and I would like to know if some of you pass this exam in the US to know if you had few questions about weather service or if it's only regarding FAR, Flight Ops, etc...

Many thanks for your help and have a great day :-)

When I wrote the conversion exam a few months ago, there were no questions on weather or anything that required calculations.

Pretty basic exam. Canadian exams have 4 possible answers and the FAA only has 3. If you did an online prep course you should be fine. When I did mine, I think there were only 2 questions that I had not seen before.

If there's a Shepard Air prep course for it, I would pay the $50 and use it.

Best money I ever spent

You can review the FAA's Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge. This comprehensive resource covers all the topics that may be tested on the CPL exam.
