Chinese proverb says: Before criticising a man, walk a mile in his shoes.
That way, when you criticise him, you'll already be a mile away. And you'll have his shoes.

Called on both lines, I have a radio in for repair right now, I'd love to be able to keep flying to that airport.

I really like the group in YFD. Friendly folks at the flying club, nice breaky. Seems like the private owners are good too.
A big shame that we have to do this, but tis' the way of the world.

2900 callers, several making multi lined calls, that's pretty dissapointing turn/call out. How many individuals called?
No wonder we get treated so poorly. None(very few) of us stand up together and get this industry going in the right direction...
Let us know how the meeting turns out...

2900 callers with 1 day notice is pretty fantastic i think. I wonder how many made calls because of reading about it on here.

1. Anyone interested in this sort of situation should go to
http://www.avweb.com and read The Pilot’s Lounge #115: The Loneliness of a Town Without An Airport by Rick Durden.
2. Are those who want to close the Brantford airport also proposing to convert all Brantford public parks and playing fields into profitable housing or office developments? Are they also intending to close all Brantford exits from the motorway to cut down on noisy and polluting road traffic? Are they also proposing to close all roads in Brantford between midnight and 06.00 so that the good citizens of Brantford can sleep well, with suitable fines and licence suspensions for offenders who break the ban? Let's see some consistency!
