Stumper. Or maybe not.

Maybe one of you has the answer to this one.
When looking on the LO charts, specifically LO 4, on V300 between Gros Cap and Thunder Bay VORs, near the midway point there is an MEA GAP. Another appears on V36 between Wawa and Thunder Bay with MEA GAP 6 NM.
We can't figure out what the GAP means. We've looked on the legend and it's not there neither is it in the instrument procedures manual. Over to you.
