JET AIRWAYS

Post by Big Bus Driver »

Any info on Canadian based Jet Airways positions? Or even Mumbai based for that matter? Pay, conditions, housing, roster?

a buddy of mine has been there for about 9 months now (Mumbai). Likes it. I say again "likes" it. He says the country is F'd. But the company is good all around. He tells me that the national pilots don't like bad WX, and are always conveniently sick during storm season. They leave the hard work for the ex-pats.

I was surprised to read this the other day. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid= ... 4Zcpime8pc
I guess gas prices' can knock the wind out of anyone's sails. I was under the impression that Jet was in a very strong position.
