Trying to reply to a pm

Post by flygirl888 »

Good day,

I received in my hotmail inbox a few days ago a pm which I would like to respond to. The problem is, when I go to my private messages on avcanada, the message doesn't exist. I don't know how I can contact this person.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Hi flygirl888. It is possible to delete a PM before it has been opened - i.e. it is sent, you get an instant email notification, but before you've had a chance to pick it up it is deleted by the sender (presumably because they changed their minds).

Don't know if this is the case with you, but I've had it happen several times - I think they found the answer to their question shortly after sending it. I find it kinda funny because the content of the PM is enclosed in the instant email notification, so unless you've deleted the email, you'll know who sent it and what they said anyway.
