Flying Beaver Feb 18th

Post by Nark »

Gonna be in town for a few days. Trying to organize another shin dig, perhaps a better showing than last time.

Thursday, Feb 18th at the flying Beav.

Bring a friend.

Also an excuse to watch the US beat Norway and Canada beat the Swiss.

Time to be determined.

Once again, I can't make it. Keep posting Nark. I go on a non-aviation relted forum that organizes get togethers (or GTG's as they call them) all over the place.

I'm fairly certain I will be in YVR and YYJ during March 7th-12 if that can work for folks.

Northshore....looking at the wknd of the 7th if you're around and we can arrange something on the island.

Will also be in YVR during the first week in June.

Judging by last showing, I don't know if we'll have enough seats... :D

I'm not sure of the start time, we'll see as we get closer to the date.

I'm interested in coming out. Anyone want to car pool from Kelowna with me? I'd fly in but I have no interest in that Olympic headache.

You can take a shuttle to the south terminal. Head towards the water/river and it's in the only wooden building leading to the docks. It has Harbor Air and flying Beaver signs.

Attire?

I'll be easy to spot.

Careful what you offer, I get down there fairly often. My son used to live within walking distance of the Beaver, great little pub.

I got weathered in yesterday and spent the whole day sitting around a mining camp north of Yellowknife waiting to get out. I'm now in the Knife and on my way south but I'm way behind schedule. By the time I get home the last thing Im going to want to do is more traveling. I don't think I'll make it this time.

Cheers mates and maybe I'll see you all next time
