What is going on at Keewatin? Is this just standard attrition? or is moral that bad? I know there were rumours that things were not too great on that front. No hour requirements? All aircraft? Travel is paid to ALL northern bases now? Even Rankin Inlet? It used to be that you had to jump your way out to YWG.
Wow is all I can say. Any info would be much appreciated.

When I was renewing my medical one of their guys was there and was talking about his interview at Air Canada 2 weeks prior and had about 3200 hours. Perhaps there's movement?

I can't offer solid information. Howver I suspect that they had a few vacancies, started going through their pile of resumes and discovered that only a small number of these people were still available or interested.
This looks like an attempt to fatten up the resume pile with candidates who, for a short time, may actually be available.

Yes lots of guys here in YWG have interviews at AC with similar experience. In fact, both Perimeter and Keewatin have had some steady movement, and both are expecting to lose a lot more this summer. You are responsible to get yourself to YWG, I believe. But they pay for your travel from there to your northern base. 2 week on/2 week off schedule. Still guys on the ramp to get upgraded, but I believe Keewatin is putting out an external add in case they need people on short notice-their ground list is not THAT large.
Re: Keewatin Air LP - Pilots
Did anyone apply for the Lear posting they had at the beginning of the month? If yes, did you get called for an interview? How did it go?
Re: Keewatin Air LP - Pilots
They are looking for B200 guys. Min 500 hours, but most with more then that recently. There is only about 5 "rampies" and with current movement, there has been lots of outside hiring. The L35 spot is filled.
Re: Keewatin Air LP - Pilots
Hey guys,
Good company to work for. 80 percent of the business is dedicated to Medevacs. They are indeed looking for DEC BE20 as they have upgraded all the qualified and most senior FOs they had. They run a safe operation, they will never push you to fly in bad weather. But being on medevac on call is eventually tough on the body, so most people do move on to 705 operators like Jazz Porter Canadian North etc. Mind you they have had very few guys leaving for AC in the past few years.
Cheers
