vintage airplane prop question

Post by AEROMONKEY »

Hi all,

I found an old prop today while at a yardsale....i'm trying to find out what its from and i figured i'd ask the pro's! here are the markings that were on it.

McCauley
Serial No. 801642
Model no. c2a34c204
T.O.P.3E.A P.C.3

i didn't buy it off the guy as it was in pretty bad shape...i would have but he wanted $300!!! its been left out in the dirt behind his shed for many many years he said.

Thanks in advance for any info....i might consider trying to get it off him if he gets a little more realistic.
