In addition to shipping paper, I think they now have
immediate download available. It may cost you
$15 or something like that.

If you think $15 is too much for a manual, oh well.
I have no idea how Essco sells them (legally) as
cheaply as that.

Starting to think that owning a print shop would be one of the best ways to make money in aviation.

I don't think you spelled "online PDF shop that is easy to access from a smart phone" correctly.

The problem is, in Canada you would sell exactly one copy of anything, and then it would be "shared".
Notice none of the posters looking for anything ver say looking to buy. It is the Canadian way.

I don't think intellectual theft is particularly Canadian trey but you're right it does make it difficult to run businesses like the one we're discussing.

I just got to say thanks to the Colonel for that link, I know its been posted before but I bit the bullet and did some shopping on that site. Stuff arrived in good order, definitely worth it. Unfortunately they were out of stock on some of their old training videos I wanted to subject my ground school to.

Since it is legal to share in Canada why are you using the words "intellectual property theft". This is not America, Europe or anywhere else.
You are not allowed to sell copies, but ever since they brought the tape (now tape, CD, DVD, etc) tax it you are allowed to share.

If you buy a cd-r in the states to circumvent the levy and then burn a compilation cd from tracks from your friend's Gordon Lightfoot collection and add an mp3 of a speed reading of a Cessna 337 POH, is it intellectual property theft?

Mostly because I don't trust those collecting the tax levied on a blank Digital Variety Disk, to distribute any funds to the people that write, manufacture or even those that sell Pilot Operating Handbooks.

Heya, bumping this thread up again.

Anyone have a copy of the -350 manual around? I can't seem to find one on the net.
Yes, I am aware of the differences between serial numbers. Just looking for a general PoH.

Cheers!

A little further digging on the aircraft I will be flying... it is a Chieftain built by Embraer. EMB820C S/N 820127
And chances are, I will be also on a regular Navajo, C/N 31-687.

If anyone could help out, it would be much appreciated. Already read a lot of the tips on flying these things on here and they are fantastic. Still trying to get hold of a copy of that Navajo Ground School as well. Found it on Scribd but with no luck on getting it to download.
