First Air only rotates into yfb and that is a 2/2 rotation. Borek is generally a min of 3/3, always subject to extension but the King Air medevac types in yev are 2/2 I believe.

Last I heard, their Iqaluit-based Lear 35 medevacs are the same. Air Inuit has a fair bit of rotation if your French is up to it. I can't remember who does rotations in Manitoba, but a few operations do.

No. Only rotations there are medevacs which is 8 on / 6 off. Everyone else is on a seniority day off bid system.

Just noticed that job post for Missinippi Airways, 12 on 12 off out of The Pas. There are worse things for someone with 750 hours.

Air Inuit
2 and 2
If you live in Montreal it's more like 15 days on and 13 days off.
If you live farther, less days home and more hotel room...
There is travel agreement with Air Inuit and they pay one hotel night.
So, if looking for rotation, you might be better off with 3 and 3. Way less time lost in travelling ang more home.(First Air and Borek)
One more thing, rotation with kids... :smt018

Can you explain that?

I would argue that my time with my kids was much better on an equal rotation than my peers doing M-F/9-5.

Wasaya is going to be doing 2 on 2 off for its 1900's in YXL in the very near future.

I know that West Wind offers a two week on-two week off rotation for their YSF based pilots on the King Air 200's. Check them out!

I'm going to go ahead and re-hash this thread. Any updates on companies who offer rotations, 2 weeks on 2 weeks on, 3 and 3, etc...

Any idea if First Air offers flight passes? How does the rotation work ie how do the pilots travel to YFB?

Last I have heard: You get yourself to YOW however you see fit; zed fares, jumpseats, etc, are indeed options. They get you to YFB from there and look after everything up there.

Not bad! A bit of a topic changer (sorry) but does anybody know of operators with these kind of rotations that allow wives (or hubbys) to use flight passes too? Going to the Dominican on your own would not seem so attractive...
