For pilots? I know they did skype interviews for FA's and automated video interviews for CSR's. Haven't heard about this for pilot interviews.

There's an automated video interview for pilots now... I think they've only been doing it for a few months?

There are 7 or 8 HR type questions; the question is showed in writing on the screen, and then you have 30 seconds to come up with your answer. It then allows you a few minutes to speak. There's a practice question at the beginning so you can see sort of what it's like. (You can do the practice question a couple of times if you're trying to adjust your mic or lighting or whatever.)

Set aside about 30 minutes or so; after it's done it takes another few minutes to upload it.

Ive seen a few threads on the video interview...are a lot of people leaving? I thought it would be a good place to work....

I've recently completed this online-video interview with Porter.

Its been about two months and I haven't heard anything back.
I thought it was a little strange to not receive anything (an automated 'PFO' or something along those lines) in return.

Just though I'd mention it - perhaps other have had the same experience.

I have had close to the same. Have not acknoledged my application either. Mine may have been different because the web cam interview failed twice, so I had to do the phone option. It worked perfect on the phone, even had the questions appear on the screen too as I went along. Just rather dissapointing to not get any news after.

To be honest, I think some would agree, a polite "no" at least will not leave you hanging. But obviously would much rather a call for an interview

Hiring was put on hold until quite recently. June was the last class and I believe they are planning one in January. Some interviews were done, but I don't believe calls have gone out yet. If you're waiting for an interview, perhaps it's time to refresh the application.

Are they planning any courses past January? Any idea how many they interviewed? Do they hire into a pool or for each course?
