Does it really matter? Pilots don't look outside anyways.

Always found that was the only way to get it defrosted, most of the time it was clear by the end of the takeoff roll. This must just be a little thicker. :smt040

That is the first time I have ever been able to laugh at that phrase instead of having an increase in blood pressure!

But seriously, folks ...

This is a twin. Why not crank up the janitrol after
startup? Direct all the air up front to the windshield.

I remember seeing pilots in YXL scooping snow off of the pilot side windscreen with their hand through the storm window. They would then proceed to fire up and taxi out with 3/4 of their windscreens covered. I also remember one guy breaking a wingtip while taxiing an another went right into a snowbank.

Take the 3 minutes to properly clean your windows! Learn the tools you can and can`t use on your plane and start a good habit today.

This pilot also seems to think he did nothing wrong.

I think he has a hazardous attitude but I can't quite put my thumb on it...

Once again, I don't understand how these people
have a problem with disorientation when entering
IMC.

They don't look outside. That's so 20th century.

The video has been deleted. Guess he got tired of trying to defend his stupidity.

Makes you wonder how much frost/contamination was on the wings?
