Re: Sunwing is hiring seasonal pilots
Anybody knows how all this seasonal pilots business works? Are the pilots called the next season? Are they relocate in
Europe in summer time? Do they eventually become petmanent? Do they have the same benifits of the permanent one?
Any information will be appreciated
Thanks

Their ad shows 120 pilot positions, that is enough for 20 aircraft. Are they into rapid expansion? Are there 120 B37NG type rated Canadian ATPL's out there looking for work and that have a positive attitude?

I don't know if they are still conducting interviews, but we have had a few of our guys offered a job.aycarumba wrote:anyone received a call yet for a interview?
Best of luck
A mile of road will take you a mile, but a mile of runway can take you anywhere
Re: Sunwing is hiring seasonal pilots
I think interviews are finished since a while. I know a friend of mine who was offered the job for septembre.
Re: Sunwing is hiring seasonal pilots
Can someone confirm to me that all Canadian pilots are year round pilots and only the foreign pilots are seasonal. Or do some Canadians get laid off in the summer.
Re: Sunwing is hiring seasonal pilots
I was under the impression that Sunwing now trains you for the 737. In which case, I have hard time seeing them not calling you back or keeping you at work (whether Europe, or Canada) considering they paid for your training? Or am I completely off?
Otherwise you would have an NG rating in your pocket with probably more than 500 hours on type and can write your ticket anywhere in the world. So I don't see how Sunwing wouldn't keep you on after the contract is done.
I don't know much about this stuff though so I'm just speculating.
