Rouge rebranding?
What are you thoughts? This is one of the ex-Lynx aircraft. Looks like rouge might be rebranded under the AC express banner.

They probably can't track myid listings but they do have to issue the zed ticket for you to travel on them. This can be tracked.

Yesterday we received an update that flying will be reduced in YXU, YYB and YSB this summer. So doesn't look good.

Re: C of R Cancellation (3 Tails)
I saw on another site that 8 aircraft were registered to Flair in November and December last year and have had the registrations cancelled in January and February. This seems really odd right? The AC dress code is quite relaxed now compared to when I first started. You can wear sneakers and jeans in both cabins. This is a list of the only items not accepted. •Any type of beach clothing and beach sandals/footwear •Jogging suits, sweatpants/sweatshirts or work-out clothing ** •Tank-tops, t-...

Our service charge and taxes really do suck. I long for the day of the $20, $30 and $50 dollar passes. Its cheaper sometimes to book seats on other airlines confirmed than travel on passes.

Re: New Contract thread
Just curious about the ASM ratio. Does this apply only to CPA or all regional flying? Given the wording about AC having the ability to code share on Tier II flying. This is a non issue with the CPA. However if the Tier II return to flying again as we did pre-CPA is there a limit on this flying and a...

Re: Arbitrator sides with the company for machinists CBA
The biggest problem you guys have is having the ramp and cargo guys with you in the same contract. You should have your own agreement. You won't get the increases you should get until that is changed. The same happened with the Air Ontario group. As much as I hate the skilled and un-skilled referenc...

"When they force my FO to sit in economy while dead-heading with Jazz pilots sitting in first class– I will make them pay" Not to worry. All your efforts have paid off. We (Jazz) now have a lower priority when travelling on business. Oh and even better our new hires won't have a J entitlement at all...

Congrats WS good move. You need the regional feed to grow other markets. I for one may be looking to apply too.
I love the idea of treating your regional employees well.

Re: 50 Q400 at WJ being farmed out
Congrats Westjet. I think this a brilliant move. I'm wondering will the ground staff at new bases be mainline or regional employees? I'm coming up on 25 years now with Jazz and would love to look for other options. It would be great to go to work and get a little warm and fuzzy feeling for my employ...

Cruizing,
No problem with doing the open jaw. You can have the listing on one PNR not need for two.
They system will consider it one trip so long as it is completed in 30 days.

Re: Advice on ZED fares
Oh Suck it up. We all started with low seniority. I do work for Jazz but I have been delivering customer service to AC/Jazz customers for 21 years. We use to have different priorities but if I recall correctly AC commuters from Jazz (ZX,QK,GX,3J) bases weren't happy with us getting on those flights ...

I have been working on the ramp for 7 months now and am taking my wife on summer holidays. Boy doesn't this say it all - a rampie with 7 months of seniority getting summer vacation. You guys all want to be treated equal during contract time, but clearly we are not all equal at this company. Cobra i...

Cobra,
According to ACpedia NRT cannot issue employee tickets. We are handled by NH and
they do not have RESIII. In SYD you can have ZED tickets issued but the ticket office
is not at the airport. Its located at 264 George St. Sydney.

Re: Porter IPO news
The thing I don't understand is everyone talking load factor. I would be a little concerned with yield. They are constantly offering 30% off fares. It reminds me of other carriers from the past trying for a quick influx of cash to keep going. Don't get me wrong I hope they survive. I think its good ...

Re: Jazz to become Air Canada Express.
I'm thinking AC sould be looking over their shoulders when it comes to erosion of flying. AC will constantly be looking to cut costs. For years the only profitable parts of AC was the regionals, Aeroplan and MTC. Thanks to Uncle Milty they have since been sold off. The core AC flying was never that ...
