Re: Recall of MEC Chair & Vice Chair
She achieved far far more for AC pilots than anyone else maybe ever, and she did it in less than 2 years. ALPA, unity, pickets, and above all she raised our expectations of what we could achieve. She did but then she didn't. So we got WestJet plus 2%. An arbitrator wouldn't have given less. Minus l...

Re: contract search tool
I'd rather see ALPA focus on straight salary gains going forward. I'm happier with money in the bank every month. You want ALPA focused on giving out profit sharing concessions. Apparently you don't like Delta's contract or their 10% bonus they just got. Air Canada pilots just gave up $75 million. ...

Re: contract search tool
Hi all, I wanted to put something out here that I found useful for pilots. Its a tool to search information within collective agreements like AC's and it comes with a chatgtp like chatbot to answer questions. Here the link: https://airlinecontract.com/ Cheers I like how the Delta contract is in the...

Re: What will Air Canada pilots do with their $0 bonus?
Dude. You sound rather angry. Take a day off from avcanada. Go play in the snow. It’s a weekend after all Not angry at all, just asking people to back up their claims Its a fact Air Canada pilots have the worst contract of any legacy pilot group and it isn't even close. Worst part is that it wasn't...

Re: What will Air Canada pilots do with their $0 bonus?
Are 67% pilots really that happy having the worst legacy pilot contract in the industry? Honest question. Not the ones who know their worth. Delta just got their 10% bonus on top of their vastly superior pay & quality of life guarantees. They would never entertain giving up their bonus for percenta...

Re: What will Air Canada pilots do with their $0 bonus?
Only did see the profit share pay out a handful of times around here... Going into a recession now? Weak leadership and direction? I'd rather see ALPA focus on straight salary gains going forward. I'm happier with money in the bank every month. Does this mean other ALPA pilots with already superior...

Air Canada pilots will always be the butthole of the big global airlines if they continue to come up with excuses & acuse colleagues of being "entitled" when they know their value.
It is tragic the opportunity that was blown with this MEC.

Re: Air Canada Pilot Incentive Bonus
Can someone honestly explain to me how the company announcing a share buyback program a week after the pilot contract worth a billion and how a much more costly strike with the Port Workers that went on for over a week isn't validation the MEC didn't completely settle too early?? You can't. Pilots ...

Re: Air Canada Pilot Incentive Bonus
Did you really think we were going to get a bonus ? I’ll take my 330CA pay ( 381/hour + 17/hour Overseas ) over the meager profit share all day long. It’s hard to hear the same rhetoric from the same muppets crying over the contract they thought slipped through their finger tips…….ugh let’s give it...

Our MEC Chair who is possibly the best chair Air Canada pilots have ever had, is on the negots committee
I completely trust her moving forward in negotiations. Not to mention the committee is essentially seven people plus any deal would have to go through the MEC before any member sees it

My favorite is seeing former ACPA Reps on Company social media
They did such a good job fighting for the members the company puts them on their social media
Of course no union lanyard to be seen...

Imagine the Leafs need a 4th line fwd and they have no draft picks to develop because they’ve traded them all away. There’s a player with 6 years pro and years of film and data on. There’s also a 18 year old playing midget. Let’s bring him in for a shootout to make sure he can play hockey. Your rin...

SO, what's happening with the MEC when one of the "leaders" of the revolution resigns from the company? Doesn't sound like unity to me. Baghdad Bob, is this the best you could come up with? I know you're still upset that the worst union on the planet is gone. The days of passing on management folkl...

Re: Ten year deal
Follow Charlene's lead. You can start by wearing your ALPA lanyard the moment you get it, if she says to. The thing is, it’s not allowed in the FOM. She will have to get that changed if ALPA wants us to wear it. We can take off the company lanyard as an option. When Delta did their "no hats" campai...
